At Kaldi Bar, our gin shelf is our favourite. We put our passion into keeping it varied and are always looking for something new.
We've built it bottle by bottle, focusing on quality and character, and finding producers who have something special to offer. You'll find everything from classic London Dry and Old Tom to Plymouth, Japanese gems from Kyoto and Scandinavian small-batch producers.
Every gin gets its own treatment, the right tonic and fresh garnish.
Order something new.
Walk up to the bar and ask the bartender for something you haven't had. That's the rule.
We love Negroni.
We always have our own Barrel Aged Negroni.

Kaldi bar — about the place.
Kaldi Bar has twelve beers on tap at any given time. We like to change things up, while our house beers are always available. We also love gin. Our shelves hold one of the largest selections in Iceland, alongside a wide range of tonics to pair with them.

Kaldi is an Icelandic beer brewed in the Czech tradition — unpasteurised, with no added sugar and no preservatives. We also have a selection from Ölgerðin, for example Guinness and Egils Lite.
The gin shelf holds 93 bottles from eight parts of the world — one of the largest gin selections in Iceland. Every gin gets its own treatment, the right tonic and a fresh garnish.
Come and ask the bartender for something you have never tasted — that is our rule. And we also always have our own Barrel Aged Negroni.
Kaldi Bar has been on Laugavegur since 2014 and has won many awards over the years, among them the Bartenders' Choice Awards for Best Atmosphere in Iceland in 2023, 2025 and 2026.
